Creating a diagnostics table

To create a diagnostics table, navigate to the “Diagnostics” section either by using the “Document Outline” in the right sidebar or by selecting it from within the “What Happened” category. This section exists by default in all newly created case reports on CARE-writer.

Click the “+ Add Diagnostics Row” button to enter a new test result. Fill in the name of the test or procedure, the result, and the unit or reference, as applicable. You can input any additional relevant information into the “Notes” field.

To rearrange the entries, use the arrows under the “Order” column to move entries up or down. You can delete an entry by clicking on the trash can icon.

You can also create your own tables and figures for your case report outside of CARE-writer and upload them directly into to the Narrative section using the insert image feature.
