Updating your name

If you log into CARE-writer using a Google account, your first and last name are automatically incorporated into your profile. If you created your CARE-writer account with your email address and password, you will need to manually add your first and last name. You can edit your name by selecting the profile icon, then “My Profile”, and then clicking on the pencil icon on the right side of the first section. Please note that updating your name will apply to all new case reports you create, but will not change your author name on existing case reports. If you have already created a case report, your email address will be listed in the name field on your case report. To update your name, select the “Authors & Readers” pane at the top of the case report editing view, then select the three dots icon next to your email address, and click “Edit Name”. Type in your name as you wish it to appear on your case report, then click “Submit”.
