Adding images as attachments

You can attach images, tables, and figures you have created outside of CARE-writer formatted as images (.png or .jpg). Please note that there is a 1MB file size limit.

To get started, scroll to the bottom of the “Write” view to the “Attachments” section and select the “+Add” button. After you have chosen an image and clicked “Open”, a preview of the image will appear, with a text box in which you can add a description. Your images will be automatically titled “Figure 1”, “Figure 2”, etc., so they can be referenced in the text of your case report. Select “Add”, and your images will appear in a list.

To edit or delete an image, click on the file name to open a panel with an image thumbnail and description box. Your updates to the description (500 character limit) will be automatically saved. To delete an image, select the trash can icon. You can change the order in which your images appear by dragging and dropping them.
